Dental Hygienist
- The first job I ever had: Cashier at Portillo’s. It was an exciting job to have because Portillo’s is such a popular and well-known restaurant in Chicago.
- Why did you decide on joining the dental field? I decided to pursue a career in the dental field when I was a kid. My inspiration came from my experiences getting my teeth cleaned as a child. A college friend introduced me to the dental hygiene program, and I’m so glad I chose this career path. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to help patients improve their oral health while also building meaningful relationships with them.
- Hobbies and Interests: Doing makeup, roller skating, and spending time with my twin sister.
- What is something people don’t know about you? From 7th grade through my senior year of high school, I was a member of the South Shore Drill Team.
- What is your favorite food? Caribbean jerk chicken
