Dr. Raina's journey to dentistry began at eight years old when a playground accident resulted in a broken front tooth. Through years of treatment from a kind and highly skilled team, she experienced first-hand the importance of a caring practice. Later, getting braces as a teen showed her the life-changing impact of a confident smile. These personal experiences inspired her to pursue a career helping others smile with confidence.

Dr. Raina earned her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dedicated to lifelong learning and clinical excellence, she is certified in multiple cosmetic and surgical procedures, such as implants, veneers, bonding, and cutting edge Bioclear techniques. Dr. Raina is also currently pursuing advanced training at the prestigious Pankey Institute, known for its comprehensive approach to relationship-based dentistry.

Outside the practice, Dr. Raina enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their dog, whether it’s walking local trails, visiting the zoo, or traveling. A morning person at heart, she starts her day with coffee, movement, and a bit of quiet before the house wakes up. Although her educational endeavors have taken her from Boston to California, Dr. Raina is proud to return to her hometown of Skokie and serve the community that shaped her.

Dr. Joann Kochikaran is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, Class of 2005. She was accepted into dental school directly after high school through UIC’s prestigious Guaranteed Professional Program, completing an accelerated two-year undergraduate track before earning her DDS. Originally from Morton Grove, Dr. Kochikaran enjoys practicing in nearby Skokie, close to home and her alma mater, Niles West High School.

Balancing her roles as a dentist, wife, and mother, Dr. Kochikaran values both professional excellence and family life. When she's not caring for patients, you’ll find her cooking, staying active, or checking off adventures from her travel bucket list including elephant rides in Bali, surfing in Costa Rica, and cliff diving in Maui.

Dr. Rizina Hakimiyan is a compassionate dentist, dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal oral health in a comfortable, welcoming environment. She began her dental career as an assistant in Skokie, Illinois, where she quickly realized dentistry was the perfect blend of art, science, and patient care. Dr. Rizina earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her passion for educating and empowering patients to maintain healthy smiles is at the heart of her practice.

With a gentle approach, she strives to ensure every patient feels at ease, even those with dental anxiety. Her goal for every visit is to leave patients feeling more confident and relaxed. A member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society, Dr. Rizina stays up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and technology through continuing education.

In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Rizina is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to offer Botox and dermal fillers to enhance esthetics, function, TMD and headache relief. Outside of the office, she enjoys family walks with her husband and pup, trying new recipes, and teaching hot yoga.
